Week 1-
Pov Luci
I’m not sure if Declan is warming up to me that well. He sometimes seems like he pleased with what i do around the office but then again i get quite a bit of resistance when I ask him if he needs me to stay later or do some overtime for him… he gets a tad frustrated when I suggest it and I’m not sure why. I can feel that he wants to challenge me, intellectually and generally but when I try to get him to give me a challenge he refuses it and just tells me to follow my schedule and responsibilities that he gave me. I don’t really know why I’m so eager to please him but for some reason I am and I definitely want his approval and praise… it’s confusing even to me! I was never this adamant about pleasing any of my boss’s before so why am i so needy with him? He is very dominant and radiates authority so that could be why I’m a little extra timid with him… I’m very submissive by nature and that’s why I take positions like this, i can follow orders and with haste… i was never good with giving orders or being in managerial positions and yes i have tried.. it was far too stressful emotionally and I just couldn’t handle the weight of it… i think if I want to get him to let me show him i can challenged i have yo challenge myself and grow a pair to directly ask him why he always dismisses my attempts…
Declan-
Monday morning 5am
“Luci you’re awfully early this morning.”
“How long have been waiting here deary?”
Luci-
“Not very long, i suppose i underestimated my timeframe for my errands this morning and since I finished them early I decided to arrive here a bit earlier to be of assistance with any preparations you may have needed.”
Declan-
“Well i appreciate your enthusiasm especially so early in the morning. For future references if you need some time to complete your errands before work so you aren’t crunched for time or overwhelmed please inform me. I’m not trying to be difficult or overly demanding and I don’t want to give the impression that I’m an unrelenting dictator just running mad and screaming orders at everyone haha so please just address this to me more formally and write out your schedule for when you may need to take time to care for yourself in any way.” “Ahem, that includes for any feminine reason’s as well, you can address them to and with any discretion you would prefer of course.”
