Week 3-
Declan pov
She wasn’t supposed to be here this late but i needed her assistance and I figured as long as i remsin here with her and keep myself under control an hour later would be okay. I just had to pray that Donovan would stay away and that no one else would show up while she was here. They would sense her anyways but they don’t always care for discretion or keeping our secret’s especially with what they would refer to her as.. “Fresh Meat.” Most of them just lack consideration but the others can be a bit more unpredictable and i see that a dangerous dynamic… well for her at least…
Pov Luci-
I was do excited he asked me to stay later to help him! Although me arriving earlier a couple weeks ago was purely by chance i thknk it played in my favor! He let’s me come earlier quite frequently as long as he’s here too and now I’m staying late wigh him. I’m giddy as can be right now although he seems a bit nervous and I’m not sure why, he’s normally very levelheaded even if it’s a stressful situation. I wonder whst is troubling him tonight…
Luci-
“I’m almost finished with everything you asked me to finish for your meeting tomorrow morning.”
“Is there anything else you need me to do before I leave for the night?”
Declan-
“No not tonight, thank you Luci.”
“Do you usually drive yourself home or use public transportation?”
Luci-
“I usually take the train’s out walk the other 7 blocks to my apartment.”
Declan-
“Not anymore, you have a company car now and anywhere else that i send you to run errands for me you’ll be given a personal car and driver to escort you.”
“If I’m keeping you here late then fmy own conscience i need to know you are getting home safely and when you are traveling for me you are being accompanied by a driver.”
“Feel free to use the company car for your personal errands as well. There’s a gas card attached to the keychain for you to fill up as you need so none of it should be taken out of your wallet for any business expenses.”
“You also have a company cell phone now, there’s 3 numbers in it, #1 is my direct line, #2 is your driver and #3 is for emergencies only you’ll know if and when you need to use it.”
