Luci- “Good morning sir, I have today’s schedule that you left on my desk. I’ll have everything sorted for your meeting at 10:30am.” “I just want to make sure thst you remember, your meeting for today was rearranged for uou to go to gheir firm and you’ll be meeting them in conference room 11 by 10:30 this morning. The company car and your driver will be out front and ready to take you by 9:45, will be you requiring my presence at the meeting or am I staying behind to finish things up for you here before you arrive after lunch?” Declan- “When was this rearranged?!” “I spoke to Davis’s boss this morning and he never mentioned that i was meeting in their office today?” “Details Luci i need fully layed out details EVERY time, that means every detail and ALL changes of information on my desk the night before!” Luci- “Yes sir, I’m sorry i promise it won’t happen again.” Declan- “Just get everything we need prepared before we need to leave.” “Yes i said we, you will be accompanying me on this trip.” Luci- “Yes sir, all of your things are already prepared for you and beside your desk.. i had those ready for you first considering It is your first meeting of the day.” “I’ll get myself together and meet you by the entrance before 9:45. I’m sorry sir.” Pov Declan- Ugh I’m such a jerk… it was so unnecessary for me that rude to her because I was already frustrated before I felt blindsided with that information and the whole time she was sure to have given me a sticky note right on the left side of my desk calendar’s. She didn’t even bother to challenge my authority knowing she was right… she simply agreed with me and apologized for it anyways… The whole time knowing she was right… why wouldn’t she if anything just attempt to gently correct me and remind me of the sticky notw… damn… the mood i wasin it probably wouldn have made me any less of a jerk… f**k. Pov Luci- I felt like it would just be easier if I agreed and defuse the tension in that situation.. I can handle moodiness I’ve had plenty of harsh bosses before and he was clearly having a rough morning and why keep the situation going over something as trivial as that information. I knew i had already prepared everything for him anyways so his preparation would have made him get ahead of his forgetfulness. It was easier to be gentle and just apologize not because I msde any mistakes but more so apologizing for his stress and it effecting him so much.
