Episode 9

She still greeted me with that my beautiful smile even after I was such an asshole to her this morning. As usual she was right on time and right where she said she would be waiting for me. She was always very prompt I’ll give her that much. I really need to apologize for earlier but I never was any good at it… hell i never really bothered to… but she deserves it, she puts up with me and it’s always met with kindness and accommodation… f**k i am such an asshole… I’d normally blame it on Donovan but most of it was me just taking out the frustration i couldn’t contain on any unsuspecting person that added to it…

“Hello sir, the car is on time waiting out of front, i got your coffee, just how like it, 3 sugar’s, no cream espresso double shot of hazelnut and 2 pumps chocolate syrup.””I’ve thoroughly read everything regarding the meeting and highlighted notes on everything necessary for discussion and contact agreements, I’ve made notes for you they are tucked neatly inside of your briefcase and anything else we have plenty of time to discuss on the way.”

Declan-

“Thank you Luci, and I’m sorry for how i acted this morning. You were right and I was taking my frustration out on you and you didn’t deserve that, I’m sorry.”

“For future reference next time you are right and I’m just being a jerk, don’t just agree with whatever I’m saying. Correct me even if it upsets me. I need challenging just as much as I enjoy challenging others and when I’m wrong then I’m wrong and you should correct me.”

Luci-

“Yes sir.. and thank you for that.”

There was that beautiful smile again, even before I apologized she still had that smile and she even made time to get me coffee… not herself, me… she deserved a genuine apology and that was one of the first times I’ve given one and genuinely meant every word of it… she didn’t deserve how i treated her and I needed to express that to her.. I never want to hurt her even if it’s just her feelings in situation like that.
