The air was warm and there was no breeze. Billy shivered, suddenly cold, his skin clammy. He stared at the large wrought iron gate at the entrance of the cemetery and tried to think of somewhere else he needed to be. He thought about Mara. How could he honestly ask her to open up and face over a thousand years of fear, if he was too afraid to go visit a couple of graves? Grabbing the gate before he could chicken out, he strode into the grounds and came to a halt. The cemetery was huge, at least as big as a football field, maybe two, and he had no idea where his parents were buried.
