The first time she changed, she’d almost killed a man. She could still remember the way his eyes had bulged in terror. His thoughts had been erratic, not making any sense. There were no wolves in these parts. Then she realized he meant her. There were no wolves in these parts.It all started on a cold winter day. Trudging through the snow, with most people already bundled away in their homes in anticipation of the coming storm, she’d passed the inn by the edge of town to pay her bill and leave. She didn"t have much money left. There weren"t a lot of jobs available to a wandering woman which didn"t include removing articles of clothing. Not that she needed much.
