After a splendid night with my mate, I felt better about the situation. I was not pleased about being at fault for not seeing things as she did. She was determined to find out what was happening and who was the perpetrator. Our realm depends on it; it is a large part of the income the royal family provides to improve everyone's lives.
She gave me some food for thought. We elves are proud creatures; somehow, my father's lack of teaching and the way I was taught to rule made me feel I didn't need anyone else to help me. I believed myself to be infallible and that only Vamir's help was needed, but in reality, she suggests that we even have what they call a Gamma, a Delta, or an extra Beta.
