I stood up slowly and followed the doctor. "She is weak, and you will only have a few minutes," he said, and I nodded.
The doctor opened a curtain, and under a flimsy hospital gown and a white sheet was lying a pale Sarula. At the sound of the curtain, she opened her beautiful eyes, and the tip of her ears blushed. I adore seeing that hue in her.
I slowly walked to the edge of her bed, "Hey... you scared me." I sighed, and she bit her lower lip.
"Thanks for not letting me die." She softly said, and I nodded.
"I would never..." I sighed, and she nodded.
"Do you know what happened?" She asked,
"The refreshments were poisoned. I don't believe the final target was you and Axelled, but the queen." I sighed and rolled out a little chair to the edge of her bed.
