After breakfast, I was packed and ready. I said goodbye to my parents and gave my brother a warm hug.
“Keep in touch…” Ralph said, and I nodded.
“Take care of her,” He added, patting Aelfred´s back and chuckled. It was almost laughable how an eighteen-year-old pup was lecturing a full-grown king.
“Let's go, my little flower…” He extended his arm for me to take it, and I looked at him with love and devotion.
I gave him a slow nod, and we made our way out. Outside the pack house, a black SUV was waiting for us. Aelfred opened the door for me, and I gracefully stepped into the car. An Omega placed our luggage in the back, and Aelfred rounded the vehicle and climbed into it behind the driver's seat.
“How long will the trip take?” I asked him,
