Henry's prolouge:
"I could not believe my parents were serious about me marrying this random girl Aisle. I did not even know what she looked like, actually I never cared what she looked like. I tried to explain to my parents that I had a girlfriend, whom I loved so much but they failed to cancel the wedding with the so called Aisle. How I hated her!
"We are in a business crisis, if you get married to the heiress of Lomez group of companies, our company will be rescued from loss." my mother tried to explain to me. But I could not understand it at all.
Now that I had to meet her family, I could not go there because I knew I could not control myself while there. I still wondered why they could not get this Aisle to marry my younger brother Aidan.

Henry felt like going to meet this so called future wife of his could be unfair to her girlfriend. He decided to go and meet with his girlfriend instead

"Ding ding" the door bell rang, Hannah hurried off to open and see who it was. She pulled the door knob open and to her surprise, it was Henry on the door. "You, what are you doing,...." before she could complete her statement, Henry had already made his way in.
"I can not meet her, you are my only girlfriend," Henry said boldly but at the same time calmly. Hannah looked at him speechless. Hannah and Henry had dated for years now. Henry kept their relationship a secret to protect the image of their family business, because Hannah was a middle class girl.
When Hannah had found out her friend Aisle was going to marry Henry she almost choked to death. She went straight to meet Henry do as to question him. "I also did not know about the wedding, my parents just brought it up" "Our company is at risk, Lomez group of companies is our only hope and saviour, I swear it's not out of love whatsoever, it's just a contract." He had managed to explain himself. Hannah first failed to accept and admit the fact, but she later consoled herself.
Henry also promised her that once their company gets back to the top, he would divorce Aisle and get married to Hannah.
Hannah looked at Henry now, who was determined to decline meeting the Lomez family.
"But won't they suspect there is a problem" Hannah tried to reason with him. "I don't care what they think, and I also did this for the best, I would not stand it there anyways" Henry explained himself to her. Hannah looked at the determined Henry, inwards she felt happy that he had chose her over her friend Aisle.
"I'll prepare for you something to eat" Hannah suggested
"That's why I love you Hannah"
Henry sat down next to Hannah who was chopping some vegetables and stared at her, "I don't want to have her as my wife, Its only you, and will forever be you that I love and want" he said looking in her eyes, Hannah turned and looked at him with a smile, "And it is only me you will have!" she assured him. Henry leaned in and gave her a soft kiss, "I love you so much Hannah!" he said with a sweet and calm voice.
Henry loved Hannah so much that he could not dare to think of himself marrying someone else. He had learnt from Hannah that they were best friends in high school, but he did not care about it.
Hannah and Aisle had gone to the same school in highschool. Since Hannah had been admitted on scholarship, children from the school bullied her calling her poor and that she did not have to be in the same school as the rich kids.
Aisle stood up for her as children bullied her and so became close friends. Aisle and Hannah were always there for each other through thick and thin. But now having a man in between them made it difficult for Hannah to remain loyal to her friend.
Aisle had no idea Hannah was lying to her so she made sure to tell her everything about herself and her relationship, leaving out no detail.
Hannah on the other hand had mixed feelings on whether she should blame her friend or not. She knew all this was not her fault, and that she was also a victim of circumstances. But siding with the woman who wanted to marry her man was hard.

"We're sorry we were not able to come with our son Henry, he is on some business trip!" This statement sounded like an echo to Aisle, was she really hearing this right? She had though that this epitome of a prince charming sitting right in front of her was her future husband Henry, but then. She had liked him, she was happy her future husband is good looking after all, but now he was not the one.
"Then who is this?" she managed to ask while pointing at the gentleman in front of her.
"He?!" Mrs Olivia asked surprised. The gentleman also looked at Aisle who was right now speechless. "I'm Aidan Halchez, Henry's younger brother" he said with a gentle smile.
Aisle's jaw dropped in amazement, she let out a light chuckle, "Almost starting to like my future brother in law," she said to her self, "he is handsome anyway, literally likeable!" she looked down at his fingers, he didn't have a ring. This meant he was not married, he could have come with his wife if he was at all married but he didn't. He was too good looking for a bachelor. He had a girlfriend perhaps, what if he did not have. Could he not be interested in her at all. Why did her parents not marry her off to this one instead, instead of the arrogant Henry who did no even come to meet her family. She shook her head to wave away the stupid thoughts in her head.
