Finn’s heart was breaking to watch his adopted son going through shifting so soon and that on top of losing his mother all in one day. He pushed his feelings aside and spoke encouragingly to Cole, urging him to let go and allow the shift to take place, reminding him that he was there with him and that he had nothing to fear.
Rose had attempted to take Natalie away, but the little girl had screamed blue murder, insisting that Cole needed her here despite her sobbing at the pain he was obviously going through. Finally Rose had given in and sat with her, soothing her while she tried to soothe Cole.
