CHAPTER SIXTEEN Kate had to admit…it felt good to be back around the mild chaos and business of DC. The moment her eyes fell on the J. Edgar Hoover building, she felt a sense of well-being that she had rarely felt at home following her retirement. She had spent so much time there, had etched out a name and a legacy for herself in that building.
