Aleena's pov
"sister when will you finish your damn homework? this light is already giving me a headache" my brother from the other side of the room shouted while I was completing my already completed assignment
"yeah sure anything else your highness"
I sarcastically replied. let me introduce myself I am Aleena waheed eldest daughter of Aezay and Mizan waheed. now you might be thinking whether I am nuts well no I am writing it down again and why is my brother n my room well we have a family rule that all sibling biological or adopted both are supposed to stay in same room till marriage or till they graduate and as for writing again that's because of those two monkeys I mean my siblings Ryan Waleed and Shanaz Waleed they are 21 and 20 years old but they still behave like kids. today, when I came back home with my best friend well my adopted sister Tayiba Zaheer after our part-time job shift what I saw, took my breath away along with Tayiba's breath as well. after what we say I swear I could have wished death after that for sure.
Flashback
after a long tiring day when I enter my home / my family mansion along with tayiba what I saw was that my lovely brother Ryan wearing blue khaki jeans along with a white shirt which plunged on his body showing his six-pack abs which he made after the workout and his shirt front said love yourself and hairs perfectly I shape and style and was standing near the pool while was holding my assignment paper which was supposed to be made tayiba and me as it was a group project but he took that from our room. we worked so hard on it just to get good grades for graduation . after a few seconds of shock, I shouted at my brother saying
"Ryan why the hell do you have my assignment paper and for goodness sake don't tell me that dad asked for it because dad saw those a day before "
my brother stood there and said
"catch me if you can sis and if u catch me ill give you your assignment back"
while having a smirk, a damn smirk, on his face and whenever he has a smirk on his face that matter never ends well. my brother started running forcing me to run after him to get my assignment back my friend tayiba also started running to catch my brother after a few rounds of running around the pool, my sister Shahnaz which was swimming the whole time decides to join them and by pulling my brother in pool drowning him along with my assignment papers as well and they started fighting in the pool and my brother being cool he has used my poor assignment papers as a shield to cover himself from being attacked leaving them in a punched and wet paper pieces while drowning tayiba and my dreams along with my assignment.
Flashback ends
after drying them tayiba and I started writing them again to complete them we skipped our evening snack and dinner as it was so long and tayiba got tired and said:
"I am tired will you be able to complete the rest of the assignment "
"yes sure but tayiba why don't you eat something before you sleep "
"yeah sure good night Aleena "
"good night tayiba "
after that, she went to sleep my mum entered and said
"Aleena darling why don't you eat something first and then complete your assignment "
" mom don't worry I will eat dinner after completing my assignment and I have to submit it tomorrow"
"ok promise me that you will eat before sleeping "
"I promise mom"
" by the way, your dad asked me to remind you that tomorrow his business partner was coming for merger so we need to be presentable and have to take a day off from my part-time job"
"ok mom will remember that now my cute mom go to sleep before you get dark circles "
" ok my naughty rabbit I am going good night darling"
"good night mom"
after that, she kissed my forehead and left while leaving me with my brother to hear nagging from him whenever he woke up and make me listen to his commands such as to close light, etc as he loves to sleep in dark. but little did I know that like that night my life was going to darkness and storm with thunder and lighting because of a devil disguised as a prince.
