"Oh, my God! Anne!"
Emma and Nicole shouted, startling Christ, who was nearby. He woke up and immediately approached. So did Jenna.
"What's wrong?"
"I think she has a fever," Nicole guessed after seeing Emma's attempt to get Anne's hands warm.
Without hesitation, Christ immediately took off his shirt, wrapping it around Anne, ignoring the stares of the other three women, who were looking away.
"Just back off if you don't want to help here. We can't let her stay out in the cold for too long," Christ said as he turned to pick up the medical kit near the hammock he shared with Clarissa. Also, another loaf of bread was left to bring over to Anne, who was still shivering badly.
