“Where were you?” The voice called me as soon as I stepped in. I placed Nova on the ground and he began to walk while I removed my coat and my shoes by the door.
Ava was glaring at me with keenness as I walked past her. She was dressed in her office wear and I made my way towards the kitchen while ava grabbed Nova from the floor and placed him on her hip as she continued to glare at me. Nova began to play with her necklaces as she let him do whatever he wanted before placing a wet kiss on his chubby cheeks .
“I asked you something.” She reminded me and I turned to look at her before shrugging.
“I went to meet Christian.” I told her and I told her everything about our conversation which obviously did not end well because now she was walking around our apartment with Nova on
