I told Leo everything as he held my hand while I sobbed. So much has happened since this morning and everything is a mess. I don't even know what to do.
“He won't take Nova from you.” Leo said and I shook my head.
“No. He will take him away, I know! I know!” I sobbed because I was the one who knew my ex-husband and one thing that I knew about him is that if he wants to do something, then he will do it no matter what.
Nova squirmed his way out of Leo's lap and carefully climbed his way down from the sofa. None of us helped him for his little journey, we wanted him to do it himself.
As I looked at Nova, playing with the stuffed bunny toy , I couldn't help the tears that continued to fall from my eyes. I can't imagine my life without him. All I have is him.
