Chapter 29- What A Snake

674 Words
Ashley watched Elise leave after her clinical experience and saw a handsome young man standing in the doorway of the elderly lady’s hospital room. As she saw the lust build in his eyes as Elise walked away, a plan began to form in her mind. Ashley flipped her name tag over, so her name was not readable, and approached the young man. “Hello, I’m Kameron. Are you a friend of Elise’s?” “Umm yeah. We actually attended high school together... and dated for about a year.” Holding out his hand he said, “my name is Kenny, Kennith Kowalski. Letting Elise get away was the worst mistake I ever made.” Ashley responded, “I have it on good authority she isn’t dating anyone right now. I would like nothing more than to see her happy. If you think you could make her happy, I could probably hook you up with her address.” Ha good thing I followed her home from Kameron’s the other night. I guess my stalking tendencies may pay off after all. “What do you think? Could you make her happy Kenny?” Kenny began to talk about how he and Elise had left town on bad terms. He then began to talk about his family’s wealth and everything he could offer to Elise to make her happy. He talked about regretting the way he acted and now being ready to settle down and treat her the way she deserved. Ashley couldn’t help but laugh to herself knowing Kenny most likely had the wrong equipment to please Elise, no matter how rich he was.  Ashley kept an eye on Kenny to see when he left the hospital that afternoon. Surprisingly he spent several more hours with his grandmother and didn’t leave until near supper time. Must be something he wants from ‘Dear Old Gram’, if he spends that much time with her. Can’t imagine anyone spending that much time with an old person like that unless they had something to gain. Ashley sneered to herself at the thought. Ashley followed Kenny’s BMW first to the local grocery store that had a florist section, and then to Elise’s house. She sat in her car, camera at the ready to try to get some incriminating photos. If only I can prove to Kameron that little b*tch Elise isn’t nearly as innocent as she seems. I can’t believe the opportunity to set her up with Kenny presented itself. That b*tch is going down. Kameron must be a much better lay than I realized if this b*tch is so twitterpated with her. So Ashley watches Kenny cross the street and knock on the door. Someone answered, so she began snapping pictures. Unfortunately she soon realized it was not Elise at the door, but some blond chick. Damn, she is fine. Look at the rack on that girl, I wouldn’t mind shacking up with her. The things I could do to her body… Kenny amazingly talked himself inside. So Ashley stayed outside in her car waiting. She took pictures of Kenny’s cat, a closeup of his license plate, as well as Elise’s vehicle. Finally about fifteen minutes later, the door opened. Ashley put the camera back up and began snapping pictures again. One nice thing about digital, you can erase any pictures that don’t turn out or don’t incriminate the b*tch! What can he be doing there with the door open? Finally Kenny steps outside the door and she can see Elise, in the doorway, holding the bouquet of flowers and what looks like a business card in her hand. Oh this is good. Ashley figures that’s the best she will get, but then Kenny turns back and kisses her cheek before walking away. Oh yeah. Jackpot baby! That’s the money shot right... there. Ashley no longer cares what Kenny or Elise do since she got the evidence she wanted. Ashley puts the car in drive and drives away laughing maniacally. Not thinking to look as she pulls out, she almost sideswiped another car and gets honked at. "Ah scr*w you!"  Ashley flips them the bird as she drives away.
