Chapter 46- Follow Up
Elise was much better Tuesday morning so went to work Tuesday night. Finally she saw Gwyn and received a huge hug when she entered the locker room. Gwyn said, “I was so worried about you yesterday. It’s not like you to miss anything.” Elise reassured her she was doing better and thanked her for her concern. Unfortunately, as soon as Elise mentioned Andrea, Gwyn clammed up and made an excuse to leave. Evidently Gwyn was not yet ready to talk about the incident or her feelings. At work Tuesday night, Elise had a bad headache, minor dizziness, and was so exhausted they sent her home before her shift was over because she was so pale.
