Chapter 52- Holier Than Thou
Kameron left shortly after Tamera because she needed fresh clothes and to run a few errands. The plan was to meet up again this evening for supper. A neighboring town was having their Septoberfest celebration, so they decided to take Evie there for some good food, music under the bridge, and to see all the beautiful fall colors before they were done for the year. Kameron picked the girls up in her car, since it was almost an hour drive to Wabasha. Elise’s truck wouldn’t have been large enough for the four of them anyway. Kali decided to ride along because she had never experienced a fall celebration before. All of them chattered, joked, and sang on the ride there. First stop was to eat at Slippery’s Restaurant for their Friday night fish fry. The place was packed with locals and tourists
