Rhea "Ahh fuck.... deeper Darius, I'm about to c*m," Mira moaned shamelessly as Darius took her from behind. "You feel so damn good..." Daruis groaned in response, his duck sliding in and out of her rapidly. "Oh... my God.... f**k!" Mira screamed in pleasure. "What in the actual f**k is going on here?" I screamed at both of them. They turned towards me in surprise, it's obvious they weren't expecting me. "Rhea," Daruis called, pulling out of Mira, who frowned. "What the f**k is going on here?" I screamed louder. "Oh please... don't ruin my ears," Mira rolled her eyes. "You act like you didn't expect this," she scoffed. "What do you mean?" I gritted my teeth, my brain is foggy at the moment, and my vision blurred a little. "All you do is work. We barely had time for s*x or even go on dates, I had to find someone to fill in that space since you were so busy," Daruis spoke up. I couldn't even find the right words to express what I felt at the moment. "If you love your job so much, why would you care who Daruis f***s?" Mira said leaning on Darius and I shiver in disgust. "I want both of you out of my house immediately," I found my voice. "We haven't finished yet, I'm yet to c*m," Mira replied shamelessly and I clenched my fist tightly, my eyes burning with rage. I turned to Daruis who didn't look like he was going to contradict Mira and something in me snapped. "You better get your things and leave my house when I get back tomorrow, and if I find even a single piece of your belongings in my house, I would burn them!" I warned and stomped out of the house. I was helpless. There was nothing I could do. I hailed a taxi and got inside, leaning on the seat. The tears I've been trying so hard to hold back fell freely. Fuck. Can today get any worse? The lump in my throat intensified, I couldn’t even bring myself to breathe properly anymore. My headache skyrocketed, and my vision blurred further. The driver stopped in front of a hotel, and I managed to get out of the taxi after paying him. I got to the receptionist desk and booked a room for the night. I just need to get away, I need to get away immediately! I walked towards the room like a drunk woman, I opened the room door and collapsed on the bed. Is my tumor acting up? I felt extremely weak and suffocating. The events of the entire day weighed on me like cold, hard rocks, and eventually, I passed out. ~ My eyes fluttered open slowly as I shifted on the bed, every muscle in my body feeling strangely heavy. I reached for my phone on the bedside table with trembling fingers. 8 p.m. A bitter smile tugged at my lips. So the worst day of my life still wasn’t over. For a brief moment, I simply stared at the glowing screen, hoping everything that had happened earlier had been nothing more than a cruel nightmare. It wasn’t. The hospital report. The collapsed healthcare center. Peter throwing me under the bus. Mom choosing the company over me. Darius… I squeezed my eyes shut. Stop thinking about him. He’s not worth another tear. I reached into my handbag and pulled out the medication the doctor had prescribed. The pills rested quietly in my palm. Six months… Even now, those words refused to sink in. I swallowed the medication without hesitation before setting the bottle aside. If this is all the time I have left, then I can’t afford to waste it breaking down every five minutes. But convincing myself was far easier than believing it. Dragging myself off the bed, I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. The warm water ran over my skin, yet it couldn’t wash away the heaviness weighing on my chest. Before stepping in, I switched off my phone again. I couldn’t bear another phone call. Another headline. Another disaster. I had reached my limit. As the water streamed down my face, Darius’ words echoed mercilessly inside my head. “All you do is work.” Maybe he was right. I spent years chasing success. Endless nights. Countless deadlines. Coffee replacing sleep. Work replacing everything else. And what did I have to show for it? A collapsed building. A cheating boyfriend. A family ready to sacrifice me. And a terminal illness. A hollow laugh escaped my lips before it dissolved into another sob. Was this really how my life was supposed to end? Unable to hold myself together any longer, I slowly slid down the bathroom wall until I was sitting on the cold floor. The tears came without warning. No matter how desperately I tried to stop them, they refused to listen. I buried my face in my hands and cried until there was nothing left inside me except exhaustion. When I was done, ~ I walked out of the room and made my way towards the hotel bar to get a drink, I couldn't stay locked up in my room I would die of overthinking, I needed a drink, a strong one to make me forget my sorrow, my miserable life. I don't know what time it was because my phone is turned off but I'm pretty sure it's almost 10 p.m by now. I got to the bar and sat on the stool. "Your strongest drink," I told the bartender, and he nodded. He dropped the glass in front of me, and I gulped down the content in one go. "Refill," I told him, and he nodded, refilling my drink. I didn't know how many glass I pushed down my throat but damn my head felt light as f**k. I don't need a genius to tell me I was drunk. Someone sat next to me and ordered a drink and I turned to see the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on. He looked a little bit familiar, but I don't want to think at the moment. My vision was sort of blurry, but I could tell he was hot... Handsome... And sexy too... "You also want to drink away your sorrow?" I asked. "No, just having a casual drink," His attractive deep voice made me smile, I could hear him speak all day. He could be the only good thing about this godforsaken day. "You're too handsome to be having a casual drink all on your own," I smiled at him, drawing my face closer to his. "I don't mind," he replied, not even bothering to look at me. "Am I really that unappealing that you won't even take a glance at me, handsome?" I pouted, and he turned to look at me, which made me smile. "Aren't I beautiful?" I asked, blinking innocently. "You are," he cleared his throat and looked away, making me frown. "Then why would you look away from me?" I held his chin and turned his face to stare at me. "Much better," I muttered. "You're drunk, miss." He held my hand and removed it from his chin. "I know," I chuckled. "Isn't it obvious?" I chuckled again. "You should leave," he said and stood up. I stood up too, I've never seen such a handsome man in my entire life. There's no way I am letting him go. "Mr. Handsome," I held his hand. "Leaving me here already?" I asked. "Is there something you want, miss?" He asked me, and I completely melted. He sounded so hot. "Yes..." I stood on my toes to meet his face, my lips inches from his. "Have s*x with me," I told him, I could see the surprise forming on his face.
