Chapter 2 'The Bride;' Jane Doris Marple

1031 Words
Third Pov; After saying farewell to her oldest, and yet her upmost dearest friend Jane arrived home late. And then silently cried herself to sleep that fateful darken night. And when dawn had finally attained. Dressed in all white; just as the other brides were before her. With this, all the villagers from far and wide throughout Nightingale Hollow gathered as a sendoff for another of their own was sent away. But, before Jane left, she had searched all around to find Erik before her departure, although, there was no sign of him. Assuming Erik did not want to bid his final goodbyes to her. So, Jane had left with eyes cast down in sorrow and entered the carriage that would arrive her to her destination. Though the journey was far, the carriage finally made it to its destination before two days. Then morning came on the day of their arrival, and there it was. A forsaken castle that reached through the clouds towards the untouchable faraway sky. From there, no light was shed, even though the only view that could be shown was the small amount of sunlight. Only darkness was seen through the inner and external structures of the castle. Though, one thing was mainly out of place from this forgotten castle. For millions, if not, then billions of roses with various colors were planted and in full bloom far and wide throughout the castle seen by Jane's carriage window. And without Jane or the cabbie noticing there he was standing in front of the castles' entrance. The Phantom; dressed in dark clothing from head to toe with a black cape and top hat to cover his frame. Along with his long black hair tied within a blue ribbon. And a dark gray mask that had shielded only half of his glittering pale-skinned face. Though the only thing that stood out beside his statured figure was his eyes. For they were the outrageous tint of silver; as though they were glittering jewels. Utterly untainted by otherworldly desires of greed, and lust for being insatiability. It was as if his very life was beauty instead of an imaginary horror, for Jane thought; (Once I considered his silver shaped eyes, something inside me knew he held no evil intentions towards anyone or anything.) Those silver eyes that are non-existent in this world sparkled from the morning light awoken something sleeping deep within myself. On how the eyes are windows towards the soul I said this to myself in a quiet whisper; "How could anyone, even me, judge the Phantom as a demon without knowing him first as a person, let alone a human?" With no fear, Jane descended from her carriage, quietly approached the Phantom and said these words; "Good day to you. My name is Jane Doris Marple, and to this day forward, I shall be your bride." Surprised as he was the Phantom managed to hold in the expression proceeding his face through the mask and greeted Jane with the same tone of voice. "Good day to you as well, Ms. Marple. I look forward to making your acquaintance." With this profound introduction between the two will soon begin a chain reaction of love with sorrow, though a recreated ending of hope shall descend upon them once again. After three to five months have gone by and passed since the arrival of the one and only Jane Marple. The Sacrificial Bride towards none other than a demonic supernatural known as the Phantom of her hometown village; Nightingale Hollow as a peace offering protecting the town. Though as the days passed, Jane saw multiple sides of the Phantom that made her have second thoughts on him as a man rather than a monster to others before her very eyes. Then one-day Jane had abruptly asked this pacific question to the Phantom as they both were outside the courtyard of the castle. "I've meant to ask you for your name?" "My name is Phantom, and ‘Phantom' is all that I am." "That is the name the villagers have given you. But, I am asking you for your real name." "I do not have a name, Jane, for ‘Phantom' is the only name I've ever known since meeting you, and your people." "Then if you do not have a one, I shall provide you a name. From this day forward, you are no longer 'Phantom,' for you are now known as ‘Luka Heinz,' if it's to your liking?" "In all my years I have never truly had a real name and a home before, but you Jane have given me both all in one. And for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart." "It is my pleasure, Luka." Within the months and then the years of knowing one another, Jane and Luka's relationship with one another has begun to develop actively. For as time had slowly passed, as if their years together were an eternity, Jane finally knows the reason for Luka's grand roses that cover the grounds of the castle. For a reason why is sixty years ago, his first bride; Carla Lane loved roses. Though her death had come to her at an early age from a sickness. So, to honor her memory along with many other brides that came after her, Luka grew millions to billions of distinctive roses. So that way they can all still live on but exist under another physical form. Even though they did not love one another for the brides were afraid of him, and he was fearful of his very presence known as a monster. But, from listening to his declaration of honor and pride to his former brides, Jane felt an emotion she never felt before spending time together with him. The emotion; love towards Luka, the Phantom. Though without notice, a known force to Jane, but unknown to Luka will develop to put a stop to this love ant forward. For this force will cause a horrible disaster in the near impending future. Dissolving a natural bond of trust. And instead, an emotional rage with grief that consumes your very being without pre-tell mortal control.
