Third Pov;
After five and a half years passed since the start of this enchanted love. A tale that undergoes a love story of a 'monstrous' individual; Luka Heinz and his bride, a fair young lady; Jane Marple. For as time progressively went ahead, Luka had discovered that he also holds these deep feelings towards Jane.
For he had asked her to solemnly be his genuine bride in a vital committee of a bonded love and trust to one another 'until death do us part,' at the stroke of midnight during the time of the evening mid-fall Spring.
"I love you, and to prove so, I shall do whatever it is you'll ask of me, Jane. Just name your request, and it shall be done my rose."
"And I, you Luka. Though, I do want one favor of you as a token of appreciation."
"Anything name it and I shall seek it. For what is it that you thought of my love?"
"You said that in honor of your passed brides you've gathered different color roses, yes. But there is no blue. If you can find and present me a blue rose, then I shall be with you until the end of time my dearest....... If you can take this selfish request of mine?"
"If so, then I shall grant this wish of yours. For you, I shall do anything and everything within my power to make you happy, until then, my fair Rose."
Thus, the next day after came, and the quest for the unknown exists of the mystical blue rose began. But, when Luka's exploration came to an end, he suffered a great deal of excruciating pain in his semi-immortal exists.
Two whole weeks of searching, he had finally found the existence of the blue rose.
As there were miles of land that was covered with blue roses. An abandoned area filed on the outskirts of any towns, or countries that have been untouched by anyone or anything.
Comparatively if saying this field here was in a dimensional world of its own held within an incredible grace, charm, and beauty. With this glorious scene unfolded to him, Luka graciously picked a bouquet of blue roses, and thought to himself;
"One day I shall take Jane here to witness this beauty. Here we could start a family of our own and be far away from everyone, and everything that would try to harm us. Though, I hope that she'll like the idea."
And that was when Luka eventually departed from the field and set off to prove his respect to Jane by fulfilling their promise of one another. For even a straightforward blue rose is a sign of love, prosperity, and finally immortality to one another.
Expressing that Jane wanted to be with Luka forever and more. To give up her humanity and be with each other now and forever.
Although one day in the middle of the night as Luka finally arrived home, there was no sign of where Jane could be.
"Jane, I've come back with the blue roses! Jane? Jane, where are you?! Jane?!"
Luka had sought desperately top to bottom, left and right, from inside and outside of the castle fabrications. And that's when he had finally found her in the courtyard. For he also smelled blood.
Though the moment he found his lover, a horrific terror had risen in his eyes and wished in the way of what he saw couldn't be real.
Jane Doris Marple; her lifeless body surrounded by roses, with some dyed red in her own blood. And with walking towards Jane with silent steps, Luka carefully picked up her body. But, that's when Jane had hazily half-opened her eyes and spoke with an audible yet quiet voice.
"Luka, welcome home, my love. I see you kept your promise. That makes me happy. So very happy."
"J-Jane, who did this to you?"
"Listen well Luka, for even though we both know that my time is almost up, please listen once more to another selfish request of mine? For that one day, I do not know when, but one day we will be together yet again. Promise me that you will wait until then?"
"I will. My precious rose, I promise, that I shall even wait for all eternity to be by your side once more."
With his answer said, Jane had died but with a smile, however with tears streaming down her face. Seeing Jane in this state, Luka knew that the love of his love had now peacefully departed from this world.
But, upon closer inspection, he noticed a sharp-edged dagger knife beside Jane's body hidden within the roses that were coated in her blood.
And that's when Luka sensed it. He sensed another presence beside Jane and himself that resided in the castle.
The presence of another individual he did not know of that smelled of Janes' blood. With the scent of his former lovers' blood on this unknown presence, he then knew that Jane was not just brutally killed.
But, her life was taken away forceful, for she was murdered by this unknown person!
Knowing this angered Luka, so he had sought out and tracked down the murderer of his love. And as the culprit noticed this, it was the brief beginning chase of life and death to one another.
However, when Luka had finally intercepted the murder. Shocked to know it was none other than Erik Miller; Jane's childhood friend?!
"Why? Why did you do it?!"
"I didn't mean to! All I wanted was to get her away from this life, from YOU. But, Jane refused, saying how she was actually happy and didn't want to leave. I was furious, knowing that the woman I loved for so long had given herself up, and professed love to a monster such as yourself! She became furious at me and defended you saying";
("You and everyone else don't know anything about him, Erik! He may have been a monster to you, but to me, he's a human that has a heart just like any other with feelings, hopes, and dreams. And with my heart, I love him more than life itself!")
"I don't know what happened after that. I was just so enraged that I took my dagger out and-!, I-I never wanted this result to occur. I had never meant for any of this to happened. So, if you want to kill me then fine, kill me. I deserved it."
After that, it felt like time had stood still for them both that it also took a considerable amount of self-endurance for Luka to make this decision.
"I won't kill you. Because just as Jane said, I am not a monster. So, you will live on with this regret until the day you die. But, do not worry, for I shall still protect the village, but there is no need for another bride anymore."
"Jane was and shall always be my one and only bride. You know she had always talked about you quite often at the castle. Saying how kind you are to others, and how you are family to her. Well, to her, you may be family, but you will never be my friend for what you have done."
With his last remark, Luka assuredly left Erik within his state of mind in shock. And when he arrived back towards Janes' corpse, he kissed her farewell on the lips. Luka had gathered her body and secretly buried her in the concealed field of blue roses while the moon itself was dyed in blood-red that night.
Notwithstanding the moon, itself had shed blood as a sign of Luka's tears for sad as he was, he couldn't bear to cry for one day they shall meet once again. Someday soon.
With burying Jane in the field of blue roses, no one besides himself could visit her grave until she becomes the soil for the earth's nature. Knowing that death is only the commencement of another ending in a new ordeal life.
