POV: Caden
My mate is here for one more day. She has to go back to her pack. I will be with her soon though. I just have to do some things here before I can go be with her. Tomorrow I will spend the day with her before she leaves. It will be at least a week before I can see her in person again. We'll talk on the phone and mind-link each other every day until we can see each other again. We just need to be patient. The moon goddess did say patience is a fine virtue to have so I'm going to honor that. If waiting is all we need to do then we will do that.
I'm meeting with my family in a few minutes. Pack dynamics are changing now with the new order. I will no longer be living here. Zayla and I spent yesterday talking about plans and how we feel about the situations we are facing. My family
