As we got reach our destination, we were only a few moments from home. And this was gonna be fun, having my father figure, uncle and my somewhat boyfriend and his brother there all together. But one thing about home, that I had missed the hell out of it.
When we were pulling up to the drive, I saw Sam looking out the window around the yard. I chuckled a little, because I knew what he was thinking.
"Wait ain't this, Bobby Singers place?" He had asked.
"Yea," I had said as Dean parked his car next to mine.
"Wait Bobby is your uncle?" He asked me.
"Yeppers." I said as I got out of the car and went over to my car and touched him. "Missed you ole boy."
"Nice car." Sam said.
"Thanks," I said as I grabbed my bag from Dean then walked towards the door. "Uncle Bobby, I'm home!" I yelled out.
After I had yelled out, it was quiet. To quiet where I didn't like it. The stove light was on, like he just got done cooking 10 minutes ago. As I sat my bag on the floor by the stairs, I started looking around. Then I heard a crash then a yell in the back yard. I pushed the door open and took off in a ran towards where it was coming from. When I seen the mess of tools on all the ground, I looked for Bobby. When he popped his head out of the little shack, I was about to wave my hand to push the person back until the last second I saw it was Bobby.
"Bobby watch out!" I yelled when I was already in motion. A stack of tires had fell over where Bobby was about to walk to.
"What the hell!!" He had yelled when he had saw the tires had fell over. "Heather seriously?"
"Sorry, I heard a crash and yelling. When I went to look, I saw someone come out but I didn't see it was you until last second." I had said.
Dean and Sam came running over and saw the little mess I had made. Dean, put his arm around my shoulders and looked over at Bobby.
"Sam, Dean? Is that you idjits?"
"Yes, sir." Sam had said.
"Damn how long have y'all been gone?" Bobby asked.
I looked over at the boys for a second to think about that. "Umm, I think a few months maybe."
"Damn its been that long?" My uncle said.
I chuckled a little.
"What brings y'all back again?" He asked.
"My dreams. They are of dad, I told you on the phone why I was coming back. Don't you remember?" I had said.
"Oh yea, of course. It slipped my mind. I've been busy since you been gone kid. Finding clues of your dad is hard. I've came across some cross road demons for help to find Randy but they were no help. To be honest, I don't think he wants to be found just yet." Bobby said.
"Why you say that?" Dean had asked.
"Well each time became a dead end. But this?" Bobby said as she went back into the shack and brought it out to us.
He handed it to me and asked I was looking it over with we end up back into the dinning room of the house to talk more. The boys grabbed a few beers and talked while I was going through books and looking at the thing that bobby gave me. I didn't know what it was. Not did the others.
But I had finally taking all night long with the books and looking online, it was a old cryptic message device. It was back dates back a few centuries. As I was trying to figure it out, slowly crypticing out each cryptic, slowly clues were coming to my head. I didn't know what was going on.
Clues that I should know what they mean, clues that look familiar, but isn't. As I was slowly falling asleep at the table, all the clues were bundling up together like a jigsaw puzzle. But a weird jigsaw puzzle. Like it was two halves of a whole.
They were about me, a Depheline. Meaning demon/angel being. Like a Nepheline was an angel/human being.
"Yes, my child." Someone said out loud.
I looked around and saw no one. Until some man had popped up in black smoke. Was I dreaming again.
"Yes, my child you are dreaming." He had said.
"Who are you? And did you hear my mind?" I had asked.
"No, child I can not. I kinda figured you wanted to know since the others haven't showed up to me talking." He had said. "But whom am I? Well I am part of you. I am the one who created you." He had said.
"Randy?" I had said as I stood up from my chair.
"Yes, I wish you would called me dad or father." He told me.
I slowly walker over to him. Being careful as I did, because I didn't want this to be like my other dreams where angels and demons coming killing.
"Dad, why are you coming to me now? Why haven't you check in on me since my parents? Why?" I had asked.
"Heather, I have checked on you. At least in your dreams. I try not to show myself to much. So they," he said pointing up. "Won't know I am talking to you."
"They? Uncle Bobby, Sam, and Dean?" I asked.
"No, my child. They as in the angels of the dear lord." He said.
"Oh," I had said as I stood a few feet infront of him.
I wanted to touch him, hug him at least but I was scared to. There were so many questions I wanted to ask, where to began? I wondered.
Just as I was about to ask him something, he leaned his hand over to touch my face, moving a piece of my hair out of the way. I started smiling a little over it. Also leaning my head more into his hand. I wanted his touch, the fatherly touch that a child needs or deserves.
"You look so much like your mother, my child. But act so much like me. They say demons don't have a soul, but I feel like I did when I met your mother. When your mother had you, you were the most amazing child anyone could ask for. Didn't cry once. But you sure made the earth shook with your powers. That was the night, they all came. Killing your mother for her sin and me taking you away with my people." My father told me.
"When you mean, taking me away with your people, did you take me to hell?"
He chuckled a little. "Of course. But there were a few people that didn't want you there so I had took you to a nice family. Until it was time for you to do your duties."
"My duties? What do you mean?"
"Heather, since your half demon, you can control the demons tell them what to do. That is why those didn't want you there." He told me. "Later on in time, you will meet a few demons that will either need your help or the other way around. And do not please do not let them abuse what you have."
"Yes, father." I told him. "I have the brothers and uncle Bobby to help me."
"Yes, keep the Winchester's close by. Don't ever get away from them. Even though I do not like the Winchester's, I'm gonna have to get use to the idea of my daughter dating one of them."
I nodded my head then reached in tonight him. I didn't want him to go. I needed him but he can't.
"Oh, tell your uncle if he needs me to just holler for my name. I will try and help him as much as I can. I don't trust a lot of demons around down there." He told me then let me go. "I'll try and come talk to you in your dreams and even in person when I can. I'll try to leave more clues for you as well." He told me as her jerked his head towards the stupid thing I been working on.
As I went over to the table to get it to ask him more about it, he was gone. And I felt hurt.
I jolted up from my sleep with a big shocked noise. The boys came running over to me, looking around to make sure everything was okay.
"Randy!" I cried out to see if it would work but it didn't.
"Hey, its just a dream. Its okay." Dean said to me as he hugged me.
As I shook off the feeling of what just happened, I stood up from my chair then went over to Bobby and hugged him.
"What's wrong, sweetie?" He asked me.
"Nothing," I smiled then looked at the boys. "I have found some of my clues." I had said.
"Meaning?" Sam asked.
"That thing." I pointed to the device. "My father gave it to you for a reason." I told Bobby. "Its for us to learn more about Depheline's."
"Depheline's? What's that?" Dean asked.
"Just like Nepheline's; angel/human but I'm a Depheline; demon/angel."
"How do you know all of this?" Sam asked me.
"Randy just told me."
"Wait how?" They all asked me.
"In my dream. He just came to me. It felt so real and he said it was. We talked about my mother and said I look like her but act like him." I said smiling. "He also said that there will be some demons that will and try to get me some I have to stay close to y'all. But there are others that will obey me."
"What do you mean obey you?" Sam said.
"In words, I'm the boss. He took me to hell when I was a baby after my mother was killed by her own to get to me but because what Randy had did, there were demons that adored me and some didn't. By the time comes, I'll know. Whatever that means." I had said then looked back at Bobby. "Oh and he said when you need help with a clue about my life I'm guessing just call for him. But he said he can't do it a lot of of them." I said as I pointed up.
"Well that's some big help." Bobby said. "Why don't everyone get some sleep for the night. We've all had a long day expressly you. You've been up the past two days with that damn thing." He told me.
I nodded then went to the stairs, as I took the first 3 steps, I looked over at Dean. He had nodded then turned back to Bobby. Bobby nodded at Dean, letting her come up the stairs with me. As we went to my room, I changed into some comfortable clothes to get in bed with. Dean just took off what he had on other than his boxers and got in the bed with me.
As much as I wanted to do things, couldn't. There were ears in the house and I don't want Bobby thinking we can't handle ourselves.
As time lead on, we stayed around looking at all the clues that we could without someone's help. Each clue we figured out, I done more on it to learn more. Some were a out powers, some were about life, and some was about history. The powers part of it, was all up to me. I went through each section on my own to unlocking each power I could have or do with it. I was what I could with each side. The angel side was going good. I had that 100% well handle but the demon side not so well. I had about 50% of it handle. The other parts, Bobby learned more about the history and the life of the powers while the brothers well, they went on errands for Bobby to get more about it.
Dean was all for it all but Sam not so much, but dealt with it for his brother's and father's friends sakes.
It took all about a week or two worth of time, but once we understood some of it, we went back to the clues that their father had left for them.
