I am sorry for taking so long to reply. I needed to think about your letter very carefully before getting back to you. I was surprised to hear that you now have a new partner and that you are about to get married, as you did not mention anything when you were visiting. If this is what you want, I am glad for you. As for your relationship with my father, I told you before that it is not my place to comment. I have to say though that I cannot help but feel taken aback that you are choosing to leave him the moment he has become very frail and is close to dying.
