Luna's Immolation

Episode 2

Leo's Point Of View,

"Did you find out something"? I was so worried about how Alex would react when he found out about this. It is getting too much. It is been a week now, we still have not found anything.

"I am trying my best Leo. You know very well that I am doing everything to get some clues even out of my limits. I am a cop and I also have to follow some rules. Hope you understand, buddy". Gosh, it seems like I am losing my mind.

"Hey, thanks buddy. I am so sorry, I know you are trying to help but you know they were family. They were killed so brutally and since then I have not been able to sleep". Andrew came close and hugged me. He is my friend from college and is trying to help me to find the killers.

Even though we all know who are the killers, we really need some solid proof. It was very well planned. I really wish I could have saved them. I took an oath when I saw their bodies. I will not spare anyone who did this to them. They will cry with blood in their eyes.

"I promise, Leo, they were my friends too and I will go to any extent for their justice". Andrew assured me. "Sir, we got something, please come with us". Someone came to call Andrew.

"Leo, you can trust me. I will tell you everything I get. You should go now". He patted my shoulder and left. I was still in grief but I can not be weak at this time. I am the Beta of my pack and Alex trusts me with his life. I can not let him down. I quickly made my way back to my pack.

Since the accident, our pack has become so quiet. Everyone is mourning. I can not blame anyone for this, I can understand this pain. Four of my pack members are dead and their wives and kids are still trying to process that they lost their mates and dads.

I was about to get inside when I saw a beautiful girl standing there. But I know she was not from our pack. She was beautiful but in bad shape. It seems like something bad happened to her. Her beautiful face was stained and her long hair was messy.

"Hey, who are you"? I asked her. She was shocked when she saw me but did not utter a word. "Calm down, I am Beta Leo, you are safe here. Tell me who are you"? I asked her again but she still did not say anything to me. I felt something fishy. I thought I should ask with a strict tone but before I could say anything else she fainted into my arms.

She fell into my arms and I quickly took her inside. I took her to the medical room and the doctor of our pack quickly checked her. "What happened to her, doctor"? I asked him and he took a deep breath before looking at me.

"Beta Leo, she fainted due to shock and weakness. Seems like she had not eaten anything for so long". He told me. I waited for some time before telling it to Alex. I need to know who she is first but I just got to know someone already informed Alex about the girl.

Soon the girl opened her eyes and I gave her an apple to eat. She quickly took it and started to eat. "I am asking you again, who are you"? I asked her and she looked at me for a second before opening her mouth.

"I am Incia. I am from the Darkmoon pack". She said. I was so shocked to hear that. "Doctor, keep an eye on her". I said and quickly went to see Alex.

Alex's Point Of View,

My blood started boiling when I heard Leo. I could feel my veins popping out. "Did you put her behind the bar, Leo"? I asked him as soon as he got in.

"Alpha, calm down. Since when do you start acting like this? You always listen to them". I came back to my senses and closed my eyes for a minute. f**k, I really did not mean to act like this.

"You are right, Leo, I just acted recklessly. What do you think, why this girl from our rival's pack would come to our pack knowing everything happening between us"? I asked him. He seemed as shocked as me. I know Leo has not slept well since the accident. We all are in the mess. It is getting hard to even eat for us. Every time we sit together their happy faces come in front of my eyes. They were my family.

"Let us go and talk to her, I am sure she has a good story to tell us". He said and we quickly made our way to the medical room. The moment we left my office, I saw a lot of guards running around. It seems like something happened here. Strangely, it did not come to me yet. I do not know why but I could feel a storm coming to us and we do not know if we are ready for this or not.

"Hey, what happened"? Leo asked a guard. "The girl in the medical room has disappeared".
