Word count: Rating: [A] [F] Description: in which Taehyung doesn't believe in himself ✴ "I'm not good at anything Jungkook." Taehyung says admittedly before pulling a swift puff of his cigarette and tapping the middle in order to get rid of the used ashes. "What are you saying? You're good at a lot of things. Why can't you believe that?" The ravenette stared straight ahead at the brunette. In Jungkook's eyes, Taehyung was beautiful, smart and extremely cool. It was difficult to imagine him not good at anything. It rally wasn't realistic. "I don't believe it because I don't see it." The brunette squinted his eyes as he stared into the distance. His body was practically hanging over the ledge as he puffed on his cigarette, personally, Jungkook would hate it but the latter made it look good. "That's because you're not seeing it from my eyes." The Raven offered a smile. His head tilting to the side as he tried to view the latter in a different light, testing each spectrum to see which would suit the latter the most. Taehyung sighed. Giving up on trying to argue with the smaller. Jungkook was extremely stubborn and never backed out of an argument. Always prepared to show people his opinion. "And what's so special about 'your' eyes." The brunette said heartlessly, not thinking of how deeply it effected the other. Jungkook gasped slightly, taken aback at the others statement. His heart stung in many ways and he sniffed away the tears and the burning within his soul. Taehyung noticed this, his eyes widening as he tried to apologise but Jungkook only cut him off. "Save it." The raven said simply before making his way slowly to the smoker, "You say you're not good at anything but surely deep down you're waiting for someone to praise you. Maybe that will give you some sense of accomplishment." Jungkook says quietly as he inches closer, making sure to not break eye contact. His heart beating at his chest frantically as he stared at the Angel before him. The brunette just stared at the younger approaching him, not even uttering a word as his head hung in shame. "... Oh maybe, praise isn't enough for you? Maybe nothing is good enough for you hmm?" The raven pushed slowly , his frustration finally coming through from the countless of times he tried to win the heart of the other. "Maybe being surrounded by people who are better just because they put in alittle extra time in what they do... Maybe it makes you feel insecure." The raven suggested. Because in all honesty, he's noticed it. Taehyung being surrounded by smarty pants but him being the 'not so intelligent' one in the group seems to be getting to him but what he didn't understand was that he was amazing in his own little ways. Not only was he clever, but he was athletic, cool, adaptable, friendly. So many things people wished they had. "Tae ... You don't seem to notice. Just because you're not an expert in one thing, it makes you feel stupid but what you don't realize is that you're not a one trick pony...." The raven finally dropped to his knees in front of the gorgeous male. Staring deeply into his eyes, Taehyung's breath hitched at the proximity, his heart beating as the younger cupped his face gently. "You're a jack of all trades." Jungkook whispered as he inched closer, the very distance burning their skin waiting desperately for one to quench it and put it out. Their skin vibrated and their minds fogged as they got lost in each others eyes, their eyes darting to each other lips once in a while. "And if there's one thing... You're so good at Kim Taehyung...." The raven whispered it softly, seductively. Lovingly. "Is stealing my heart." And that was all it took. All it took to seal that confession with a kiss.
