Planes flew above the sky as the city celebrates its festival. Boats floated on the river of Gysap, sailing with their decorated floats and colorful bandanas. My mouth gaped in awe as I watch the festival in full bloom, smiles and laughters echoing around me.
“This is the best,” I stated as I wave my hands in the air, going along with the crowds’ swaying.
Confetti rained down on us as the planes passed by, spraying everyone with dust and confetti, colored with vibrant hues of blue, yellow, and orange. People danced on top of the floats wearing the most intricate designs I have ever seen.
