Chapter 15 St. Petersburg, FL THE BURGLAR HAD chosen a spot on a side street near its intersection with the street on which his next target resided. His vantage point gave him a clear view of the target driveway, and his patience was ultimately rewarded when he saw an old Jaguar sedan back carefully down the driveway and head south in the general direction of downtown St. Petersburg. Remembering what had happened in a certain gated community in Jacksonville, he waited a full thirty minutes before he slipped into the shadows and down the alley toward his goal.
