I wasn't sure how to convince her and make her understand that I was her father who was long dead and forgotten.
How was I even supposed to tell her that I was a ghost? She might decide to stay far away from me if I ever said that.
But that didn't stop it from being the fact. Either way, she was definitely going to find out someday that I was a ghost. There was obviously no need prolonging it further.
“Yes, I am your father.” I paused to catch a glimpse of the look on her face. Of course, I was not surprised by what I saw. She was obviously still having a hard time believing it. “It's the truth. I am your long lost father and I have come to help you.”
