CHAPTER 18
LUNA MOONCREST
“If indeed you are my father as you claim to be, why don't you embark on this journey instead? I'm your child right? Would you really watch me endanger my life out there?” I threw the question at him as soon as he returned back into the hut.
I knew this might probably sound crazy to him, but I also knew for a fact that it was the right thing to do.
If he really cared about me like he claimed to, this wasn't supposed to be a big deal.. right?
He paused for a while, still saying no words. His eyes traveled reflectively towards me, piercing through with every stare.
His silence was golden at this point and I was really willing to wait to see the end of it all. I needed to hear his response.
“Why do you keep wishing for things that will never happen?” He asked
