Remi's POV
I raise a brow at Gray, shocked by his small confession. “You're curious about me? Why?"
“I don't have an answer for that yet, but when I do, I'll let you know," Gray grins and my heart stutters at his words. I said those exact words to him the day before. I'm surprised he remembers.
I don't know what to say to that because my heart feels as though it's pounding in my ears, and I can't focus properly. I was not expecting Gray to be here today or be acting so… nice, so I'm a little thrown off guard.
I clear my throat and look down at my phone lying on the table. 2:01 p.m. I lift my eyes to Gray who is already staring back at me. “I should probably head home now."
