Elena's P.O.V
The night wrapped itself in silver, the full moon casting its glow across the villa’s terrace. The garden below lay in silence, as if the world itself paused to watch what was about to happen between us.
My chest rose and fell too fast, my breath shallow as I clutched at Dax’s shirt, dragging him closer until his warmth swallowed me whole. My lips trembled, the words fighting past my pride, breaking free.
“Dax…” My voice cracked, fragile and needy. “I want you. Here. Now. Under the moon. Please.”
He froze. His grip on my waist tightened until I swore he was holding himself back from destroying me. His dark eyes glittered with something dangerous, primal, like the wolf inside him had stirred at the sound of my begging.
“You don’t know what you’re asking for,”
