I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed because I had an overwhelming feeling of unease, and not even my enthusiastic, sanguine son could lift my mood. I thought I was ready, so I headed straight to the boardroom. Today’s meeting was about bringing all the projections together into one plan I’d created. I needed every executive on board before we could move forward. Soon, the boardroom filled up. I wore my cream blazer, maroon skirt, and heels.
