Not until now.” I stare at Quinn through the window as Dan says, “So you're saying that Richard Davenport . . . ” “Probably hired that guy to beat Father Stratton.” Dan and I just look at each other, then the detective pulls out his phone and sends a text. Through the glass, we see Helen pick up her phone and look over her shoulder. “Take him back to his cell,” she tells the officer.
