Joey was startled and looked up at Frederic, asking, "What did you say?"
Frederic pinched her glowing cheek and said with a playful tone, "Your things should naturally go to your office. Where else?"
Scarlett's eyes instantly filled with tears.
"Frederic, can't I even try the dress on?" she pleaded.
Raising an eyebrow, Frederic responded casually, "That dress doesn't suit you. Choose another one, on me."
He then wrapped his arm around Joey and led her downstairs, not waiting for Scarlett's response.
