Hearing that voice, Scarlett shivered all over.
She immediately turned to look at Frederic.
"Frederic, Miss Renfro was drugged that night, which is why she ended up with Stan. She didn't mean to betray you. Don't blame her anymore."
Scarlett instantly concealed her panic and reached out with a towel, intending to wipe off Frederic's sweat.
However, he briskly pushed her away.
Frederic stared at Joy, his gaze icy. "Explain exactly what happened that night."
He pulled Joey into his arms.
The sweat on his forehead trailed down his jawline, dripping onto Joey's face.
Joey looked at him calmly. "You heard me. Besides, you saw it all that day, didn't you?"
"You were drugged, that's why you were with Stan, right?"
