After about fifteen minutes, Harris grew increasingly anxious.
"He's been in cold water for ages with no improvement. Where's the person you called?"
"He's stuck in traffic but on his way. Grab all the ice from the fridge and add it to the water," Jason instructed.
"But he's already suffering from a stomach ache; the ice might just freeze him to death," Harris protested.
"What else can we do? We're out of options," Jason replied with resignation.
Amid the chaos, the room door swung open. Cherry entered the room with Scarlett.
Looking at Frederic in the icy bath, Cherry scolded sharply, "Are you trying to kill him? No one can escape the effects of this drug. Your foolish methods won't work. Scarlett, go help him."
