Just as the gurney was about to slam into Joey, a strong hand grabbed it, stopping it cold.
Kaden's face was stormy as he glared at the flustered nurse. "Are you trying to get fired or what?"
The young nurse, visibly shaken, turned to Joey with a frantic apology. "I'm so sorry! I lost control for a second."
