Marina felt a bit flustered and quickly came up with an excuse. "I think I heard Joey's dad mention it during our last meal together."
Hearing her response, Frederic nodded with some skepticism. "You took good care of Joey back then. Once you're discharged, we should come visit you. And hopefully, we'll get to enjoy your delicious cooking."
