Frederic grabbed Joey's hand, a smug smile playing on his lips.
"Joey, you're being jealous."
"Why would I be jealous? What are you to me? You're not even my ex, Mr. Adamson. I'm well aware of my place."
Frederic brushed Joey's pink lips with his chilling fingertips.
He then chuckled and said, "What a sharp tongue you got. You know, it gives me an urge to teach it a good lesson. But shouldn't you listen to the victim's side before passing judgment, Ms. Renfro?"
Looking back at Scott, he ordered, "Throw that jacket in the trash."
Scott immediately obeyed, bowing slightly to Scarlett with a smile. "Miss Palance, words can be misused, but clothes shouldn't be. My boss doesn't like anyone other than Miss Renfro touching his stuff."
Without hesitation, he then took the jacket from Scarle
