Iris’ POV
“Welcome to Paris, Iris.” is all it took to bring the tears. I feel the concern Finn has through the bond but I can’t stop crying long enough to explain anything to him so I just sob harder. He pulls over and exits the car. He comes to the passenger side, opens the door, and turns my body so my feet are on the ground.
“Is everything okay, love? I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you.” he begins and I feel a rush of guilt through the bond and I immediately shake my head vigorously. I pull him to me and hug him tightly, inhaling his scent to calm myself down. Once my sobs are reduced to hiccups and I’m able to speak I pull back and look into his eyes.
“I love you so much, Finley Malachi Rayner. I don’t know what I did to deserve such a mate but I’m blessed beyond words. Thank you
