Iris POV
“Time to train, pups.” I say through mind link. They can’t link yet but the fact Iris and I can mindlink literally anyone has proven itself to be a very beneficial gift.
I hear the sounds of running feet and laughter coming down the stairs and shake my head as I smile.
“Are you chasing them again?” I ask Finn through our link.
“Well duh. I’m the big bad wolf and I gotta gobble up the children, honey.” he says with such playful sarcasm I can’t help but laugh.
Before I know it Amira, Everett, and Finn are running circles around the large coffee table in our living room. After watching them for a little while, Kaiya walks in the room and laughs. The kids snap their necks in her direction and take off, no longer interested in “the big bad wolf”.
