"Mom wants me to go home, she says I'll be in danger." I'm clear to him.
His face turned grim after hearing my explanation.
"The flock of wolves that attacked earlier could be overcome. I just let my guard down but it won't happen again. I promise."
"That's not it, Mom said there was something about me that was dangerous if they found out."
"Who are they?" he frowned.
"I don't know. But Mom knows everything and wants me to go home."
"No. I will protect you."
"I don't need to be protected. All I have to do is prevent it and that can only be done by Mom." I was frustrated to explain my situation to him. I know he won't let me go but my life is at stake.
He looked around the house and pulled my hand towards his room and locked the door to make sure no one could enter.
