(Daciana POV) Bardolph’s scream struck the circle, and my chest tightened because the bond forced me to feel the shape of his pain. Not all of it. Enough. Enough to know the moon had turned my old wound back on him. Enough to know he finally felt what his rejection had done inside my bones. Part of me wanted satisfaction. Part of me wanted to cry.
