12 I woke up refreshed, having slept well during the night, put on my jogging duds, drove to a nearby park and ran three miles. The chill of the morning air felt newly invigorating as I passed people meandering over the trails among the early plant shoots pushing up through the ground. Tree tunnels began to fill their cover with bursting buds. Out of habit and out of shape, I bent over to catch my breath. Despite my aching body, I felt good about my effort and anticipated a productive day ahead.
