Avery's pov I moved around a bit, trying to calm my anger. Jayden had gone after Aiden to speak to him, hopefully, sort things out. Though he didn't mention it, I know there's more to Aiden's anger—not that I'm justifying his actions but Jayden seems too cool with it and today, I saw his guilt from his reaction. "What are you doing outside all on your own?" "Sydney, I'm not a child that needs supervision and guidance with everything." Her constant worry about me and her reaction to me just doing normal stuff—existing, pisses me off a lot. I know she cares but sometimes it can be annoying. "Alright I get it. Do you mind if I stay out here with you?" I gave her a 'why' look. I don't need a babysitter. Maybe her being here wasn't a bad idea after all. I need answers... "Sure. Why not?
