Chapter 11 Saturday dawned bright and sunny. Not that Jace saw it since he slept in until ten. He’d gone to the opening night party, thanks to Merianne’s practically dragging him there. And he’d had a good time—something that surprised him—and so hadn’t gotten home until the wee hours of the morning. Halfway through his shower he realized, with a frisson of alarm tempered by anticipation, what day it was. Okay, I know it’s Saturday, but today’s my date, as he called it, with Liam.
