Jace felt at a loss what to say once the waiter had left, so he was thankful when Liam asked how rehearsals had gone.
“I survived them, and I am no crazier than I was before they started.” Jace went on to tell him a bit about what had gone on, ending with, “The show opened last night and the audience seemed to love it. Ricky did a fantastic job, as always.”
Liam c****d an eyebrow. “That’s a change in attitude. Last time you mentioned him it was not in a particularly good way.”
Jace shrugged. “I guess, well, I know, I’m finally over what happened. He seems to be good for Charlie and that’s really all that counts. Right?”
“Right. I’m glad you’re feeling better about things.”
