This apartment was something Aaron and I had bought together, but now, I couldn't stand to spend one more day in it. I'd already lined up a new place. This trip back was mainly to pack up my things and clear out. But just as I'd expected, there was no way Aaron would do the sensible thing and leave with Vicky. The second I walked in, he reached out to grab me. "Rena, you have to believe me. There's truly nothing between Vicky and me."
